Terms of Service

Introduction

These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of Mythology Stories, including our website, mythology and modern fantasy worlds knowledge base, AI chat, character conversations, creative tools, generated media, accounts, subscriptions, credits, support, and related pages, features, APIs, and communications.

By accessing or using Mythology Stories, you agree to these Terms. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the service.

Eligibility and Accounts

You must be able to form a legally binding agreement to use Mythology Stories. The service is not directed to children under 13, and you must meet any higher minimum age required by the laws of your country or region. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the service only with permission and supervision from a parent or legal guardian.

You must provide accurate account information and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by anyone you allow to use it. Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may refuse, suspend, restrict, or terminate access if we reasonably believe an account violates these Terms, creates legal or security risk, is used for abuse or fraud, fails payment checks, or harms the service, users, or third parties.

What Mythology Stories Provides

Mythology Stories is an interactive platform for exploring traditional mythology, folklore, legends, and selected modern fantasy worlds. The service may include public content pages, structured knowledge entries, semantic search, source-grounded Q&A, character-style conversations, article generation, image generation, proverb or share cards, user dashboards, saved chat history, and administrative content workflows.

We may add, change, remove, rename, limit, test, or discontinue features at any time. Some features may be experimental, available only in certain languages, available only to signed-in users, or subject to usage limits, credits, subscriptions, moderation, review, or technical availability.

Knowledge Base and Third-Party Rights

The service distinguishes traditional mythology from modern fantasy worlds. Traditional mythology and folklore may include public-domain materials, scholarly descriptions, cultural summaries, translations, citations, and platform-created commentary. Public-domain materials remain public-domain where applicable.

Modern fantasy worlds, character names, settings, artifacts, stories, images, and related works may be protected by third-party copyright, trademark, publicity, or other rights. Mythology Stories does not grant you rights to third-party intellectual property, and you are responsible for ensuring that your use of any content or output is lawful for your purpose.

We may remove, edit, limit, or decline to display content when we believe it is inaccurate, unsafe, legally sensitive, infringing, misleading, low quality, outside the service scope, or otherwise unsuitable for Mythology Stories.

AI Features and Outputs

Mythology Stories provides AI-assisted responses, summaries, citations, roleplay, character-style dialogue, creative writing, image generation, translation, content import assistance, and related tools. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, biased, offensive, inconsistent, or unsuitable for your intended use. Citations, source references, and retrieval results may also contain errors or omit relevant context.

AI features are designed for mythology, folklore, storytelling, education, entertainment, research assistance, and creative exploration. They are not legal, medical, financial, psychological, religious, safety-critical, or other professional advice. Do not rely on the service for emergency decisions or decisions that require a licensed professional.

Character chat, Arcanum dialogue, and other in-character or persona-style interactions are fictional and provided for entertainment, storytelling, and educational exploration only. AI characters and personas are not real people, deities, religious figures, or cultural authorities, and their statements do not represent the advice, opinions, beliefs, doctrine, or endorsement of any actual person, faith, tradition, community, or organization. Do not treat in-character responses as authoritative cultural, historical, or religious guidance.

You are responsible for reviewing, editing, and validating AI outputs before relying on them, publishing them, using them commercially, or sharing them with others. We do not guarantee that outputs are unique, protectable, non-infringing, culturally complete, historically definitive, or appropriate for every audience.

Image Generation and Content Safety

Mythology Stories image generation is for safe, non-adult creative images, storytelling, education, design assistance, illustrations, covers, characters, scenes, artifacts, and other lawful creative purposes. The service is not an adult content service and must not be used to create, request, upload, save, share, sell, or distribute pornography, explicit sexual content, sexualized nudity, pornographic poses, fetish content, sexual services, or content primarily intended for sexual arousal.

You must not use the service to create or distribute child sexual abuse or exploitation material, sexualized minors or youth-coded characters, non-consensual intimate images, sexual deepfakes, sexual violence, coercion, exploitation, human trafficking, or sexualized depictions of real people without consent. You also must not try to bypass, disable, probe, or evade our safety systems or those of our providers.

Allowed image generation includes safe creative images, illustrations, covers, avatars, characters, scenes, artifacts, educational diagrams, non-explicit mythological concepts, non-graphic combat scenes, oracle cards, share cards, and story covers. Prohibited image generation includes sexual or pornographic content, sexualized minors, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual deepfakes, sexual violence, extreme gore, torture, dismemberment, and requests for uncensored or NSFW output.

We may use automated review, provider safety filters, human review, rate limits, account restrictions, content removal, generation refusal, logging, and other enforcement measures to apply these rules. If we believe content violates these Terms, creates legal or payment processing risk, or is unsuitable for Mythology Stories, we may refuse to generate, save, display, publish, or share it. Unless required by law or expressly stated in the product, blocked or removed content does not necessarily receive a credit refund. You may contact support about clear false positives, but we will not manually approve adult content.

User Content

"User Content" means prompts, chat messages, uploads, images, feedback, profile information, import materials, settings, and other content you submit to Mythology Stories. You keep ownership of your User Content, subject to rights owned by others.

You grant Mythology Stories a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable, and sublicensable license to host, store, process, reproduce, display, adapt, create derivative technical formats from, and otherwise use your User Content as needed to provide, secure, operate, support, improve, and promote the service; enforce these Terms; comply with law; and develop or evaluate service features. This license lasts for as long as reasonably necessary for those purposes, including backup, audit, legal, and security needs.

Do not submit User Content that you do not have the right to use, confidential information you do not want processed by the service, personal information about others without proper permission, or content that is unlawful, infringing, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or otherwise violates these Terms.

Your Use of Outputs

Subject to these Terms and applicable law, you may use outputs generated for you by Mythology Stories. You are responsible for deciding whether an output can be used for your intended purpose, including whether third-party rights, platform rules, disclosure obligations, or cultural and attribution norms apply.

We may generate similar or identical outputs for different users, especially when prompts, source materials, mythology topics, or model behavior are similar. We do not promise exclusivity in any output.

Paid Features, Subscriptions, and Credits

Paid features may be offered through subscriptions, one-time credit packages, lifetime plans, trials, promotional grants, or other offers. Prices, taxes, renewal periods, included credits, credit expiration, feature limits, usage limits, and other commercial terms are shown at checkout, in the product interface, or in the relevant offer.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider we may use. By purchasing a paid feature, you authorize us and our payment provider to charge your selected payment method for applicable fees, taxes, renewals, and usage-based charges. Subscription plans renew automatically unless canceled before renewal through the available billing flow.

Credits are a limited license to use eligible features. Credits are not cash, stored value, a bank account, or a transferable property right. Credits may expire, be limited to specific features, be consumed at different rates, or be adjusted when there is fraud, abuse, technical error, payment failure, refund, chargeback, or operational correction.

Refunds are provided only where required by law, stated in a specific offer, or made available through the product. If we provide a refund, we may revoke the related access, credits, or generated benefits. We may change prices, plans, credit amounts, and feature availability for future billing periods or future purchases.

Privacy, Cookies, and Communications

Our collection and use of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy. Our use of cookies, local storage, analytics, advertising technologies, and consent choices is described in our Cookie Policy.

We may send you service messages, account notices, billing messages, security alerts, support replies, and legally required notices. Where allowed and with any required consent, we may also send product updates or marketing communications. You can manage certain communication preferences through account settings, email links, cookie settings, or by contacting us.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service unlawfully or in a way that violates the rights of others.
• Submit, generate, upload, save, share, or distribute content that is illegal, infringing, deceptive, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, pornographic, sexually exploitative, non-consensual intimate imagery, sexualized minors, extreme gore, or intended to facilitate harm.
• Use the service to create malware, phishing, spam, scams, credential theft, unauthorized surveillance, or instructions for wrongdoing.
• Misrepresent your identity, affiliation, age, payment authority, campaign attribution, or entitlement to credits or discounts.
• Interfere with, overload, scrape, crawl, reverse engineer, bypass, probe, or disrupt the service, security controls, rate limits, payment flows, or access restrictions.
• Use automated access, bots, scripts, data extraction, or model training collection without our prior permission.
• Upload malicious code, corrupted files, or content intended to damage or gain unauthorized access to systems or data.
• Use AI outputs to impersonate others, mislead audiences, violate third-party platform rules, or avoid required disclosures.
• Resell, sublicense, or provide the service to others as a competing product unless we give written permission.

Intellectual Property

Mythology Stories and its licensors own the service, software, interface, design, logos, trademarks, curated platform materials, proprietary datasets, prompts, workflows, code, documentation, and other materials we provide, except for User Content and third-party materials. These Terms do not transfer our intellectual property rights to you.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, host, create derivative services from, or exploit the service or platform materials except as allowed by these Terms, product functionality, applicable law, or written permission from us.

If you send suggestions, ideas, or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or compensation, and you confirm that doing so will not violate any obligation you owe to others.

Third-Party Services

The service may rely on, integrate with, or link to third-party services, including payment processors, authentication providers, AI model providers, analytics providers, advertising platforms, hosting providers, email providers, storage providers, and external websites. Their terms, policies, fees, and availability may apply separately.

We are not responsible for third-party services, content, websites, models, policies, actions, or failures. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and may require you to maintain separate accounts or permissions.

Service Availability and Changes

We aim to operate Mythology Stories reliably, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free service. The service may be unavailable because of maintenance, model provider limits, payment provider issues, network problems, security events, legal requirements, product changes, or other reasons.

We may modify, suspend, limit, replace, or discontinue any part of the service, including AI models, prompts, citations, content availability, supported languages, storage behavior, credit pricing, plan benefits, and free features. We may also impose or change usage limits to protect users, control cost, maintain performance, or comply with law.

Account Closure and Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. You may also request account deletion through the available account controls where supported. Some information may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy, including records needed for security, fraud prevention, billing, accounting, legal compliance, backup, dispute resolution, and enforcement.

We may suspend or terminate access immediately if you violate these Terms, create risk, fail to pay, misuse credits, infringe rights, threaten the security or integrity of the service, or use the service in a way that may harm users, Mythology Stories, or third parties.

After termination, your right to use the service ends. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply, including provisions about intellectual property, User Content licenses, payments, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, and disputes.

Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythology Stories is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy, availability, and uninterrupted operation.

We do not warrant that mythology data, source attributions, citations, AI outputs, generated images, translations, search results, account features, payment flows, or third-party integrations will be accurate, complete, lawful for your use case, available, secure, or free from harmful components.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain disclaimers, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mythology Stories and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages; loss of profits, revenue, goodwill, data, content, credits, opportunities, or business; service interruption; security incidents; or costs of substitute services arising from or related to your use of the service.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the service or these Terms will be limited to the greater of the amount you paid to Mythology Stories for the service in the three months before the event giving rise to the claim or USD 100.

Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Mythology Stories and its owners, employees, contractors, service providers, and licensors from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the service, User Content, outputs you use or distribute, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of third-party rights.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. If changes materially affect your rights or obligations, we will provide notice where appropriate through the service, email, or another reasonable method. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
